The front of this carved trachyte block was worked in bas-relief. In its upper section, a curved frame encloses a sub-rectangular face with a broad, slightly rounded chin. The nose is rendered as an engraved rectangle, the mouth as a simple horizontal line, while the eyes and forehead are entirely absent. Looking closely, the figure appears to be bearded and crowned, although the crown was intentionally removed, perhaps to diminish the symbol of temporal and divine power. The stylistic features recall Punic sculpture, especially in the shape of the nose, while also echoing local variants of Romano-barbarian art. The artifact comes from the Nabrònes area and was brought to light accidentally by a plow during deep agricultural work.
