This Roman funerary stele, carved in trachyte, belongs to the so-called “hut-shaped” cippus type, with a double-pitched roof. The inscription is arranged in five lines and combines a prayer with the funerary text itself. Found in the locality of Sa Tanca ’e is Paras, it reads:

“KARA IS THE WIFE OF GOCARAS NERCAUNIS, FOR WHOM, AFTER HIS DEATH AT THE AGE OF THIRTY-FIVE, SHE BUILT THIS TOMB.”
